Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP), a top ten Girl Scout Council in the country, is looking for Girl Experience Specialist/Camp Director to join the Mission Delivery team. We currently have an opening serving the Lehigh County / Camp Mountain House. The Girl Experience (GE) Specialist/Camp Director successfully manages the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) to girls within a specific regional community within Girl Scouts of Eastern PA ‘s (GSEP’s) footprint, through GSEP council events and year-round programming at a GSEP camp. This position also directs summer camp.

  • Manage the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) to girls within a specific regional community.
  • Direct summer camp and manage seasonal staff at a GSEP Camp.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Girl Experience team to provide a full menu of programming.
  • Recruit, hire and participate in cross-departmental collaborations to achieve council-wide goals and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GSEP, GSUSA, ADA, ACA, Pennsylvania Labor Laws, health department and OSHA standards.
  • 5 years or more of experience in youth development, education, or related field.
  • Experience in managing staff and/or volunteers.
  • Valid driver’s license, car, and proof of current insurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience working with databases.
  • Ability to understand and monitor budgets and perform metrics.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, can be substituted for professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, management, and project management.
  • Experience and interest in serving youth of all backgrounds through youth-development programming.
  • Experience planning and coordinating program activities for large numbers of diverse participants.
  • Multi-level data management and reporting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Full-time position (35 hours/week)
  • Hybrid work schedule with office and meeting participation during regular office hours (M-F)
  • Evening and weekend hours expected for key program delivery.
  • Travel required within specific Region and throughout GSEP’s 9-counties.
