About The Position

The Gifted/Talented Teacher position at Carroll Elementary School is designed to create an atmosphere that nurtures the potential of each student. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education and ESL.
• Demonstrated competency in the assigned core academic subject area.
• Knowledge of strategies and materials for educating gifted and talented students.
• Knowledge of curriculum and instructional best practices for online learning.
• Strong knowledge of Internet and web-related technology.
• Ability to instruct students using various technology applications and platforms.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop relationships and maintain consistent contact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to support students with computer set-up, navigation, and technology issues.
• Ability to interpret data.
