Directs and maintains accountability for computerized cash register. Exhibits initiative and knowledge to assure operations carry on in the usual manner in management's absence. Requirements
- 1 year of relevant experience retail sales
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree Business or Related field
- Experience in marketing.
Responsibilities
- Maintains cashiering system.
- Coordinates and trains employees/volunteers on cashiering system and serves as a resource for issues that arise.
- Provides direction and support to employees/volunteers and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Participates in ongoing quality monitoring and process improvement activities related to gift shop services.
- Prepares merchandise displays to attract the attention of prospective customers.
- Assists and/or maintains inventory, buying product, sales and/or payroll processing.
- Generates reports of sales, inventory and trending as requested.
