About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assist Gift Shop customers. Price and display merchandise. Conduct inventory. Assist Gift Shop Manager/Lead with merchandise selection. Open gift shop and check cash drawer. Close out cash at end of shift, and return cash sales to vault. Advise Gift Shop Manager/Lead regarding customer requests. Work with the lottery. Sell entertainment tickets for shows and special events. Work at box office as needed. Return deposits to vault. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong math skills.
• Knowledge of steps involved in a sale.
• Knowledge of add-on sales.
• Eye for detail.
• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
• Normal mobility throughout the facility.
• Able to lift and push up to 45 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
