About The Position
The Gift Officer (Institutional) position at Cooper Hewitt is part of the Office of Advancement and is responsible for developing and implementing an annual workplan to generate contributed revenue from public and private foundations, Smithsonian Institution sources, and government agencies. This role supports museum exhibitions, programs, special initiatives, and general operations. The position reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and collaborates with colleagues across the Smithsonian Institution to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts.
