About The Position

The Gift Card Support Specialist I role at Shift4 is designed to provide exceptional service to merchants and dealers in the gift card processing industry. This position involves direct communication with clients through various channels, ensuring a positive company image and effective problem resolution. The specialist will work closely with management on gift card projects and will be responsible for processing orders, resolving issues, and maintaining inventory, all while collaborating with internal teams to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Experience at Shift4 Payments or in the Payments Industry/Project Management Knowledge is a nice to have.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite & Google Sheets.
• 2+ years of computer technology experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with merchants and dealers to provide high-quality service and professionalism.
• Communicate with merchants and dealers via phone, email, chat, and tickets.
• Assist merchants with placing gift card orders using the online wizard.
• Provide reports upon request to merchants.
• Schedule and perform gift card conversions from previous providers.
• Resolve merchant issues related to the activation and redemption of gift cards.
• Process gift card orders for printing.
• Assist with gift card fulfillment and other legacy TCC duties.
• Handle fulfillment inventory and work with suppliers to obtain inventory.
• Utilize strong problem-solving and people skills to ensure first call resolution.
• Participate in team/departmental meetings to provide feedback and improve the work environment.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
• Complete projects under tight deadlines and be available for overtime when needed.
