About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for an enthusiastic Seasonal Front of House Retail Team Member who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, & community as we are! In the role of Front of House Retail Team Member, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients. This is a part-time position (~15 hours/week) and SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED WHEN NEEDED.

Requirements

• 1+ years customer service/retail experience (preferred but not required).
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule standards as Front of House Retail Team Member shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to guests and confidently suggest meal and gift items to first-time guests and returning regulars.
• Work quickly and learn from mistakes.
• Look for opportunities to step in and help other departments even before being asked.
