Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time GI Therapeutic Technician. This is your opportunity to provide care to patients while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee Region . What you will do: A GI Therapeutic Technician typically assists in gastrointestinal (GI) procedures and treatments. Their responsibilities may include preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures and ensuring that the equipment is properly sterilized and functioning. 0.6 FTE, 48 hours bi-weekly Rotation between 8 and 9 hour day shifts. Hours range from 6:30am to 5:30 pm Monday-Friday Call shifts are once a week and every 5th weekend, dependent on staffing. Call is 5:30pm to 7:00am. Weekend call is Friday 5:30pm to Monday 7:00am What you will get: Starting pay of $19.86 hour + more for experience! Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) OR A licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin and any additional states of practice
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
