Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• One (1) year of experience as a GI Lab Technician
• SGNA Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the physician & direct care to the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.
• Also, performs delegated unit tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse.
