About The Position

The Outpatient Center at Boynton Beach is hiring a GI Tech Welcome to The Outpatient Center at Boynton Beach The Outpatient Center of Boynton Beach is an accredited, physician‑owned ambulatory surgical center committed to delivering compassionate, high‑quality outpatient care in gastroenterology and pain management using advanced equipment and streamlined processes. GI Tech at The Outpatient Center at Boynton Beach The GI Technician/Endoscopy operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab
Current BLS required, ACLS preferred

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred
