Also, performs delegated unit tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- One (1) year of experience as a GI Lab Technician
- SGNA Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to the physician
- Direct care to the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.
- Performs delegated unit tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse.
