We are seeking a highly skilled GI & Special Procedures Technician who is ready to bring their expertise, precision and teamwork to a fast-paced pediatric environment. You will under general supervision from a registered nurse and/or provider, the GI/special procedures technician supports best and safest patient care including but not limited to endoscopy, dental, and oncology cases. Sets up equipment and supplies prior to case, carefully reviews preference cards and case notes to ensure accuracy. This team member will primarily support GI endoscopy cases but may be required to assist with additional non-surgical cases. This position requires: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of advanced hospital-based endoscopic experience including ERCP and EUS cases. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association. GI Tech certification preferred. Hours: Four 10-hour days 6:50am-5:20pm. Weekday, weekend, and Holiday call for the GI specialty; requires a 30 minute response time. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
