Position Details: Duke Lifepoint is hiring a full-time Gastroenterologist to float between two Duke Lifepoint Hospitals o Frye Regional Medical Center - Hickory, NC (1 hour from Charlotte, Asheville, & Winston Salem) o Haywood Regional Medical Center - Clyde, NC (25 minutes from Asheville) Spearhead the development of a newly formed travel position o 1 employer – no locums companies o 1 contract - easy to manage Schedule: 7 on 7 off block o 7 days at FRMC o 7days off o 7days at HRMC o 7days off No requirement to relocate Procedural Based o Inpatient Consultation and ED coverage only o Exclusive Block Time in Endo suites or OR o NO CLINIC requirement o Hospitals are equipped with General GI and ERCP scopes Support o Care Team supported by Advanced Practice Providers to manage clinic visits o Certified Medical Assistant assigned to the physician for patient care coordination
