About The Position
Gastroenterology Consultants, Ltd. (GIC) / Nevada Endoscopy Management (NEM) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified full-time GI to join their growing team in Reno, Nevada. This established practice has been in the Reno community for over 30 years and offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and an opportunity to deliver high-quality GI patient care with a growing referral base. The role involves working in two outpatient GI clinic locations and providing inpatient GI consult coverage at two community hospitals, supported by a team of Medical Assistants and Advanced Practice Providers.
Requirements
- GI Fellowship Trained
- Ability to do high-volume colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD)
- Must be comfortable performing high-volume standard diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
- Active or ability to obtain an unrestricted Nevada medical license
Nice To Haves
- ERCP and advanced endoscopy experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Position outpatient and endoscopic care for GI patients across clinic and ASC settings
- Collaborate with physicians, other APPs, and support staff
- Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities and participate in inpatient GI consult coverage at two hospitals
- Document clinical care using gGastro (ModMed) EMR
