As a member of the GFS Sales team, you will be responsible for working predominately with Food Service Distribution Sales and/or customers to sell a full range of Tyson poultry and prepared products. This position will be part of a dedicated Gordon Food Service (GFS) Sales Team. This involves identifying products that meet customer needs and working in conjunction with margin managers and other Tyson internal assets in sales R&D accounting customer development and customer service distribution to coordinate the entire Tyson asset package for the customer's benefit. This position is responsible for the facilitation of all activities necessary to achieve sales and profit objectives for assigned categories within the Distribution sales channel, with specific accountability for Gordon Food Service divisions. This position will also be responsible for working with the Business Units to execute pricing and margin strategies relative to the business units and sales channels objectives for Volume and EBIT. This position could have specific responsibilities for customers in the marketplace and will be responsible for presenting plans and initiatives to Business Units customers and sales teams. Other responsibilities include creating strategic plans for assigned Gordon Food Service divisions including contract renewals new business opportunities and annual volume and profit goals; developing quarterly sales presentations and annual and quarterly sales volume plans.
