About The Position
Recruit members for the German Choir, rehearse with them weekly, select repertoire, direct at least one performance in the fall and one in the spring.
Requirements
- St. Olaf student or staff member
- Major, concentration or experience in choral conducting
- Preferred intermediate-level knowledge of German with excellent pronunciation for singing
- Ability to organize and motivate a group of mixed-level singers
Responsibilities
- Recruit members for the German Choir
- Rehearse the choir weekly (1 hour)
- Select repertoire for rehearsal and performances
- Direct at least one performance in the fall and one in the spring
