About The Position
Regency Care of Silver Spring is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification preferred.
- Prior experience in geriatric care or a related healthcare setting is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively with elderly individuals.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Help with mobility and transportation within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow all healthcare protocols and maintain resident confidentiality.
