About The Position

The Project Manager will oversee multiple or large engineering projects, focusing on geothermal engineering principles. This role involves managing project teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring high-quality project delivery on time and within budget. The position also includes mentoring junior staff and coordinating quality assurance for project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• 4-year Engineering Technology Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in project management and engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer License (PE) - Optional
• Familiarity with GLDs for geothermal heat pump and ground heat exchanger system design.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable with geothermal engineering principles including ground source heat exchange, standing column wells, open loop geothermal wells, and closed loop geothermal wells.
• Establish and manage project teams, identifying and utilizing company resources to obtain proper technical expertise for specific project issues.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, communicating project objectives and the firm's capabilities to current and potential clients.
• Deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget, meeting client expectations and communicating project status and potential issues professionally.
• Proficiently develop letter proposals, scope of work budgets, change orders, and schedules.
• Communicate project information and accounts receivable information to supervisors.
• Prepare final plans and technical reports for client and regulatory submissions.
• Manage billable and administrative responsibilities to meet utilization goals.
• Effectively work remotely with staff in other offices as needed.
• Coordinate Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others.
