Youll perform foundation and subgrade evaluations, rebar inspections, boring layout, drill rig access clearing, site reconnaissance, and some manual testingwhile also preparing geotechnical reports and managing materials testing projects. Requirements

• graduate with BS/BA in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geology
• Preference given to candidates holding an EIT (Engineering-In-Training) or ability to obtain within 6 months
• entry level up to 2 years of experience, preferable with a Geotechnical consulting firm
• Participate in conducting geotechnical investigations and analysis, performing boring layout for utility clearance
• Supervise drill rigs, classify soils, logging borings, test pits and cores and prepare geotechnical reports
• Perform foundation and subgrade evaluation, testing and observation services, review plans and spec letters
• ability to travel up to 80% of the time, using your own vehicle
