About The Position

Kleinfelder's Geotechnical team is looking for a Project Professional within our Salt Lake City office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role where they can execute project work, partner with senior professionals, provide mentorship to junior staff, collaborate with multidiscipline teams, and engage with clients. The ideal candidate will perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis. They will safely conduct field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support under supervision, coordinate tasks and small projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff, and prepare designs, reports and calculations on complex projects for review. We are looking for someone with the ability to provide quality technical support on commercial, municipal, transportation, energy and water projects. Experience on design/build projects preferred.

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of related experience or 4 years related experience with a Master's or 2 years of related experience with PhD.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience on design/build projects preferred.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, drilling operations and heavy civil project design and construction are preferred.
