Responsibilities include coordinating efforts of other engineers, drill crews, and sub-consultants to deliver results that ensure the goal of exceeding clients’ expectations on every project. May include leading subsurface investigations, performing engineering analysis and calculations, design and development of plans and specifications, and the preparation and review of reports for services provided. What you’ll be doing: Specific duties include, but not limited to: Project management of geotechnical engineering on large and/or multiple projects addressing earthwork and foundation materials Manages geotechnical engineering projects from inception, including project schedules and budgets Preparation of geotechnical engineering project work scopes, schedules, budgets, invoices and proposals Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria to provide quality engineering services Subsurface investigations including borings and test pits Oversees and provides guidance for staff that may include other engineers, geologists, drill crews and subcontractors to ensure our goal of exceeding our clients’ expectations on every project Coordinates and communicates with contractors and clients Satisfies multiple and unrelated deadlines Prepares technical reports and letters Other duties as assigned
