The Project Engineer I supports the successful execution of engineering projects by applying fundamental engineering principles to design, field assessments, and construction oversight. This role assists senior staff in collecting data, performing calculations, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Project Engineer I is focused on skill development, quality execution, and safety in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain EIT/FG certification within one year; interest in pursuing PE licensure
• Familiarity with engineering and collaboration software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, Teams)
• Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and field construction practices

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analyses, calculations, and designs under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support preparation of technical documents including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates
• Participate in site visits, surveys, inspections, and field investigations
• Contribute to project reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and technical integrity.
• Help identify project risks and develop basic mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients on project deliverables and logistics.
• Ensure work complies with company procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulations
