About The Position

(GTA) is looking for Geotechnical Field Technicians in our Nashville, TN office! Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. Ample opportunities for training, certifications and career advancement. You must own a vehicle, have a good driving record, like working with people, and enjoy working outdoors. Experience is preferred, but we will accept entry level candidates and provide training! Requirements
- Reliable Vehicle
- TN driver’s license with clean record
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Ability to work alone as well as in a group
- The ability to read plans & specifications
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Nice To Haves
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology or similar field
- NICET
- ACI Level I for concrete sampling/testing
- ICC Certifications in Soils, Structural Concrete, Post-tensioning, Masonry, Fireproofing
