About The Position

As a member of ECS Group of Companies, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining pressure meter testing equipment, laying out borings and test pits using conventional surveying and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Your role will involve observing and classifying test pits, performing hang auger borings, and participating in site seismic testing and Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) testing. You will also be tasked with classifying samples obtained from drilling operations, testing, sampling, and inspecting soil, as well as performing routine field and laboratory tests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university preferred
  • 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Ability to carry 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist height

Responsibilities
