Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering program with Geotechnical or Structural emphasis, working toward bachelor or master degree.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn how to perform geotechnical engineering analyses and design calculations for tunnels, shafts, foundations, temporary excavation support systems, and soil/rock slopes.
• Willingness to learn how to perform seismic hazard evaluations, such as liquefaction and lateral spreading analyses.

Responsibilities

• Assist the technical team with a variety of field and office assignments, focusing on geotechnical or structural engineering analyses.
• Assist with subsurface explorations and construction oversight.
• Perform calculations and prepare reports.
• Prepare plans and specifications.
