Pay Rate : $25 - $28 per hour Geotechnical Engineering Intern Delve Underground is seeking an entry level Geotechnical Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to join our team to assist our technical team with a variety of field and office assignments, with a focus on geotechnical or structural engineering analyses. You will be assisting with subsurface explorations and construction oversight, calculations, preparation of reports, preparation of plans and specifications.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering program with Geotechnical or Structural emphasis, working toward bachelor or master degree.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn how to perform geotechnical engineering analyses and design calculations for tunnels, shafts, foundations, temporary excavation support systems, and soil/rock slopes.
- Willingness to learn how to perform seismic hazard evaluations, such as liquefaction and lateral spreading analyses.
