The Geotechnical Engineer position is responsible for performing intermediate level engineering work activities and projects, applying engineering knowledge to achieve assigned objectives safely and efficiently. The role involves working on Electric Transmission Line and Substation projects, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence three days a week in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and remote work for the remainder of the week.

  • Perform intermediate level engineering work activities and projects related to geotechnical engineering.
  • Conduct subsurface investigations and desktop geologic research.
  • Design foundations including drilled piers, steel grillages, and guy anchors.
  • Assist in slope stability and landslide mitigation design.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to lower-level engineers.
  • Coordinate work activities and assist in project planning and organization.
  • Travel to field sites to diagnose geotechnical issues related to electric transmission lines and substations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 0 to 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with slope stability software (e.g., SLOPE/W) and foundation design software (e.g., LPILE).
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred.
  • Experience with Electric Transmission Line and Substation projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Competitive salary range of $70,961.00 - $88,700.50 USD.
