About The Position

We’re looking for a Geotechnical Engineer who knows the consulting world—someone who’s worked with firms providing Geology, Environmental Science, and Environmental Engineering services. If you thrive in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment, this role will give you the chance to lead from the field and solve real-world problems head-on. You’ll take charge of project leadership across multiple regions, using your technical expertise and practical mindset to deliver results that matter. The ideal candidate will hold a PE license and bring proven experience in the environmental consulting industry, with the confidence to step into a leadership role and the drive to make an impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in geotechnical or applied environmental consulting
• PE license or EIT with the ability to obtain licensure in the state of hire within 12 months
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, gINT, GeoStudio, or similar software
• Strong writing skills and experience preparing technical reports
• Willingness to travel to project sites within your region

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations and in-situ testing
• Deliver foundation design, slope stability, and settlement analysis recommendations
• Write and present clear, actionable reports for clients
• Scope, budget, and manage projects with support from a collaborative team
• Oversee fieldwork and lab testing to ensure QA/QC
• Partner with clients, regulators, and project teams to keep work on track
• Mentor junior staff and share your expertise
