Chloeta is seeking a Geospatial Programmer to develop, translate, modernize, and maintain geospatial automation tools, scripts, and data engineering processes that support enterprise GIS operations. This role enables modernization of data workflows, automation of cadastral datasets, and improved performance of land-related systems.

  • Provide s expertise to translate programs, automation tools, code, scripts from python to new support program platforms
  • Provide s professional expertise in writing programs that translate existing programs and scripts which automate the management, maintenance, and standardization of large datasets .
  • Design s and code s new programs , scripts, and routines to support the automation of operations, which will improve data management and map production
  • Develop automated creation, update, and management tools for Indian land tracts, reservation boundaries, ownership, leases, and ROWs.
  • Comprehend s IT servers and geodatabase architecture and design principles to develop resource information management and information delivery services/systems
  • Assist s in scripting on special projects within the Division and sometimes outside to support critical missions
  • Use scripting technologies such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, and web technologies to collaborate with technical team members
  • Apply understanding of server and geodatabase architecture to build information management and delivery systems
  • Support special projects requiring advanced scripting or automation to meet critical mission needs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and related programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data models, PLSS, cadastral systems, and enterprise geodatabases.
  • Ability to develop scalable automation workflows for large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted or enterprise GIS environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, GIS, Geomatics, Information Technology , or related STEM discipline
  • At least Three (3) to Five (5 ) years of progressive GIS development, spatial data programming, or geospatial systems administration
  • Master’s degree in GIS/Geography or related field
  • Advanced coursework or certifications in Python, data engineering, or software development
  • P Esri Developer, AWS Developer, or related programming certifications
