SUMMARY: As a Geospatial Analyst, the successful candidate will participate on a team engaged in: (1) collecting, processing, and delivering of geospatial data; (2) perform quality assurance and quality control on data products; (3) managing and organizing large volumes of geospatial data; (4) providing technical support and assistance to partners/end-users and (5) working side-by-side with a team of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) professionals to plan the execution of new GEOINT 2D/3D production workflows. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential functions are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed by employees. Be a part of a team responsible for performing a diverse set of geospatial processing and production tasks. Provide Geospatial production expertise to support the development of innovative automated production workflows and capabilities. Perform time-sensitive ad-hoc production of 3D GEOINT content in response to tactical, mission-critical end-user requests. Collaborate with end-users to ensure 3D GEOINT content can be easily accessed and integrated into existing software and workflows. Produce GEOINT user tutorials and user-friendly documentation showcasing how to exploit 3D geospatial intelligence to create analyses and visualizations in common software applications. Support sourcing geospatial data from open-source, onsite, commercial and Government Furnished Information (GFI) repositories to support new and existing production requirements. Support prototype and production workflows within HPC, Supercomputer and Cloud processing environments. Maintain regular communication with customer, subcontractors and vendor staff members. Take on, lead and complete project tasks, as assigned, independently with minimal oversight from Project Manager. Work with the team to ensure physical and data security procedures. Work within a small close knit team, reporting to the Program Manager. Demonstrate a willingness to work within a small, diverse, flexible team which may require performing ad-hoc jobs as required to complete project tasks. Support daily activity, as required. Communicate on a regular basis with all members of the team, the team management, other members of GNIS, and be actively involved in the ongoing commercial Both in person and remotely through email, phone, and video teleconference. Interact regularly with Project Partners. Travel, as required, to attend training, conferences, presentations, and exercises that align with the mission objectives. Other duties as assigned.
