About The Position

The Geoscience Consultant role at SkyGeo focuses on integrating and implementing data for reservoir engineering practices in the oil and gas sector. The position requires a communicative individual who can collaborate with engineers and clients to optimize production and ensure operational safety through data analysis and visualization.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics, or Petroleum Engineering.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry as a Geology, Reservoir Engineering, or Geomechanics domain expert.
• Knowledge and experience with technical computing software.
• Excellent presentation and visualization skills.
• Hands-on experience with conventional GIS and related software, remote sensing, or surveying methods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAR and InSAR technologies for mapping stability issues and displacement modes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a self-starter attitude.
• Inquisitive nature with a desire to discover novel techniques.

Responsibilities

• Discuss specific solutions and configure products and services for technical users in oil and gas operations.
• Integrate various types of remote and on-site data to drive insights into subsurface reservoir mechanics.
• Model and visualize data using software systems to create compelling visualizations such as animations, graphs, and maps.
• Work closely with geoscience and engineering domain experts at customer sites and partners.
• Collaborate with InSAR Engineers in the Data Pipeline team to deliver and configure data sets.
