About The Position

This job is a Camp Counselor in the Georgia 4-H Summer camping program, located at one of five 4-H Facilities across the state. Counselors will create a safe and fun environment for campers to participate in experiential learning and recreational opportunities, primarily in an outdoor, natural setting. Counselors also plan and produce entertainment opportunities for campers and work to coordinate these activities with UGA Cooperative Extension and other Center staff.

Requirements

• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, CPR certification, and AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to engage in physical activities including daily walking of three to four miles.
