Job Objective: As a member of multiple Asset Teams, evaluates and interprets geophysical data including seismic attributes with integrated geological data to develop oil and gas investment opportunities for the company. Essential Job Responsibilities: Assesses appropriate geophysical techniques and applications for project and reservoir characterization for the company's potential and current assets. Reviews and makes recommendations on investment opportunities through geophysics and geological analysis. Generates structural, stratigraphic interpretations, and hydrocarbon potential, based on seismic data and interpretations. Analyzes surface seismic, and borehole data to quantitatively estimate depth and structure for reservoir development and drill wells. Generates depth and structural maps of reservoir development and drilling locations, using seismic data and advanced structural inversion techniques. Coordinates and designs surface and wellbore acquisitions for optimum cost benefit of data and interpretations. Coordinates, designs, and manages process flow for processing or reprocessing. Interprets, integrates, and communicates special geophysical applications (e.g. analyze gathers, AVO), as appropriate. Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation. Supports company vision and mission. Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings. Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
