Description : BS or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in geometry / dimensional engineering within an industrial or automotive environment Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and datum schemes Hands-on experience with dimensional measurement equipment (CMM, FARO Arm, checking fixtures) Experience in plastic injection parts (preferably exterior automotive parts such as bumpers) Ability to analyze and present dimensional reports to Project Managers and cross-functional teams Fluent in English Strong interface capability between product, process and project teams Job Description Details : Validate datum schemes, stack-ups and tolerance calculations defined by Design Leader / EPM Support tolerance commitment during RFQ phase with Project and Product teams Validate and define measurement scenarios in line with customer expectations Participate actively in dimensional measurements using CMM, FARO arm and checking fixtures Analyze measurement results and identify deviations, risks and root causes Prepare clear and structured dimensional reports Present findings to Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support convergence decisions Lead Geometry Folder definition for complex or innovative projects Ensure correct application of geometry tools and methodologies within the project Consolidate plant dimensional capabilities to improve tolerance calculation and convergence tools Support technical discussions with customers regarding tolerance feasibility Estimate geometry-related project workload (hours and cost) and submit for validation Profile: Geometry / Dimensional Engineer – Plastic Injection Confirmed level (3–7 years experience) Strong hands-on and field-oriented profile Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Comfortable presenting technical findings to Project Managers and stakeholders Able to work cross-functionally between design, process and plant Autonomous and structured Strong communication skills

Requirements

  • BS or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in geometry / dimensional engineering within an industrial or automotive environment
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and datum schemes
  • Hands-on experience with dimensional measurement equipment (CMM, FARO Arm, checking fixtures)
  • Experience in plastic injection parts (preferably exterior automotive parts such as bumpers)
  • Ability to analyze and present dimensional reports to Project Managers and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong interface capability between product, process and project teams
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in geometry / dimensional engineering
  • Strong GD&T and tolerance stack-up expertise
  • Practical experience using CMM, FARO Arm and checking fixtures
  • Experience measuring plastic injection parts
  • Ability to analyze dimensional deviations and build structured reports
  • Experience presenting dimensional results to Project Managers or technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of product/process convergence

  • Automotive Tier 1 experience
  • Experience with exterior plastic parts (bumpers, trims, large injected parts)
  • Experience supporting tolerance negotiation with customers
  • Knowledge of plastic injection process impact on geometry
  • Participation in RFQ tolerance commitment phase

Responsibilities
