Your Mission Drive Precision: Support tolerance commitment negotiations and ensure product dimensional convergence. Innovate & Improve: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and feedback with our central geometry team in France. Collaborate Globally: Work closely with plants and core teams to deliver excellence in geometry and metrology.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with experience or Master’s in Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–4 years in geometry/metrology, ideally in automotive, with exposure to checking fixture development and customer interface.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and technical mindset
  • Expertise in mechanical engineering, statistics, tolerancing
  • Gauge RR, dimensional inspection, and basic project management
  • Proficiency in Excel or Minitab
  • Languages: Fluent in English; clear and accurate technical communication

Nice To Haves

  • Perform dimensional measurements and deliver reports; experience with 3D scanning (Polyworks) is a plus.
  • Polyworks experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Define and write specifications for checking fixtures aligned with customer requirements and company standards.
  • Partner with Purchasing for sourcing and manage technical follow-up from design to plant acceptance.
  • Validate commissioning of fixtures (safety, functionality, ergonomics, gauge repeatability).
  • Drive Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gauge RR) and provide operational training.
  • Analyze Gauge RR results and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform dimensional measurements and deliver reports; experience with 3D scanning (Polyworks) is a plus.
  • Validate tolerance commitments during RFQ and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Lead geometry folder definition for complex projects and ensure methodology compliance.
  • Estimate budgets for global geometry scenarios and support project convergence using OPTIMAP processes.
  • Consolidate measurement results (1D, 2D, 3D) and share best practices to improve tools and processes.
