About The Position

Mississippi, Southeast Louisiana: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Professional Geologist or Engineer to join our Environmental Site Assessments team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental assessments and be passionate about fieldwork, regulatory compliance, and technical reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental assessments or related field
• Valid driver’s license and TWIC card required
• Professional Geologist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (current)
• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Geology or Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental data analysis software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks related to fieldwork
• Willingness to travel to job sites and perform extended field duties as needed

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
• Perform environmental sampling of soil, groundwater, and surface water
• Prepare technical reports and documentation in accordance with industry standards
• Interpret analytical laboratory results and provide environmental risk assessments
• Coordinate field activities, subcontractors, and project schedules
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards
• Travel to project sites throughout Mississippi and Southeast Louisiana as needed
