Position Description: ELOS Environmental, LLC (ELOS) an Aventia Company seeks a motivated environmental geologist to support field efforts and report preparation, specifically as it pertains to Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II Subsurface Investigations in accordance with Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality’s Risk Evaluation Corrective Action Program (RECAP) as well as, soil and groundwater data processing and modeling, basic file organization, etc. as required for successful project completion. The successful applicant will be required to collect and interpret the field data as well as prepare the appropriate report. field data regarding various environmental characteristics of project sites. The applicant will collect the information in an organized manner and report back to project management with updates. The applicant must be organized, have experience installing soil borings and monitoring wells, logging the wells, sampling the borings/wells and performing slug tests, etc. Applicant must be capable of performing physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions, have experience in preparing various types of resource reports, and will be required to travel locally.
