Such potential Geography Teaching is inclusive of daily supply, short/long-term cover & permanent posts. Some key stage 3 classes will be required coupled with key stage 4 students - on some occasions there will be the option for key stage 5 teaching. Teaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants are subject to pre-employment checks including satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. We offer payment via both Umbrella and PAYE Services.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the humanities national UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing among young people
