About The Position

As Geviti continues to expand its clinical footprint, we are seeking a Geographic Collaborating Physician to support Nurse Practitioners practicing in Georgia and Mississippi, in accordance with state-specific collaboration and proximity requirements. This is a fully remote, low-time-commitment 1099 role focused on clinical oversight, availability, and compliance—not routine direct patient care. The ideal candidate is experienced in collaborative practice models, comfortable with telehealth workflows, and aligned with Geviti’s integrative, proactive approach to care.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia and/or Mississippi
  • Primary residence and clinical practice based in the collaborating state(s)
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty
  • Prior experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners
  • Comfort with telehealth-based care delivery and remote collaboration
  • Strong clinical judgment and collaborative communication style

  • Experience in functional, integrative, or preventive medicine
  • Familiarity with hormone replacement therapy (HRT), peptide therapies, and compounded medications
  • DEA registration
  • Experience supporting compliance in telehealth or multi-provider care models

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the collaborating/supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners practicing in Georgia and/or Mississippi, in compliance with state-specific geographic and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain in-state presence as required by applicable collaboration and proximity rules
  • Provide clinical consultation and escalation support to NPs as needed
  • Conduct periodic chart reviews and documentation audits per state regulations
  • Execute and maintain required collaborative or supervisory agreements
  • Support adherence to Geviti’s clinical protocols, documentation standards, and scope-of-practice guidelines
  • Collaborate with Geviti’s clinical leadership to uphold quality, safety, and compliance
  • Participate in occasional virtual check-ins (minimal time commitment)
