Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effectively manage projects, resources, and staff while providing expert technical guidance in geotechnical engineering across diverse projects in both public and private sectors and ensure strict adherence to applicable guidelines. Lead and manage a large team of regional Geotech engineers across multiple states in the Midwest Perform geotechnical design, investigation, and analysis for buildings and infrastructure projects, including residential/commercial buildings, bridges, highways, railways, airports, pipelines, and levees/basins. Direct and supervise subsurface explorations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical data interpretation to ensure a high-quality, timely, and within-budget delivery of the projects. Perform geotechnical design and analysis for shallow and deep foundations, earthworks recommendations, slope stability and seepage analyses, lateral earth pressure calculations, and other pertinent analyses in support of a wide range of projects in public and private sectors. Supervise and lead geotechnical support during construction of geotechnical elements, including shallow and deep foundations, grading, utility trenching, and other earthwork operations. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and governmental personnel, ensuring that all geotechnical concerns are addressed comprehensively. Mentor and train junior geotechnical engineers and foster their professional development. Play an active role in professional associations.
