Job Description Geneva Consultant Locations: NY, NJ, FL (Hybrid) Get To Know The Team: SS&C, a leading provider of award-winning software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking a talented Consultant to support SS&C Advent's Geneva enterprise portfolio accounting application. Blend financial industry knowledge with technology skills while implementing and upgrading Geneva. Gain exposure from multiple client environments. Upgrades provide a unique opportunity to learn the latest and greatest features bundled with Geneva releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting is required.
  • 6+ years of client experience in the financial services industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of investment management, fund accounting, and asset management.
  • Solid working knowledge of client back office workflow and operations are required.
  • Expertise with the general ledger, fund accounting and trial balance is required.
  • Excellent communication, project, and client management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, positive attitude, and proactively.
  • Ability to learn quickly and present to technical and non-technical audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SSC Advent’s Geneva or expertise with similar applications is highly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage time to maximize productivity.
  • Ability to learn quickly and independently by gathering information from a variety of sources to acquire the knowledge needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills. The ability to present information to both technical and nontechnical individuals.
  • Ability to be self-directed and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, design and configure products, automate optimized workflow.
  • Manage time to deliver critical components and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Prepare system and data transition plans, and complete migration involving historical data take-on.
  • Execute implementation tasks, collaborate and communicate project status with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead hands-on training sessions, troubleshoot issues, technical support during go-live events.
  • Develop custom reports, conversion tools, and system integration mappings.
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services as part of implementation projects, build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexibility to travel and adapt to changing work hours.
