About The Position
The Genetic Counselor at Kennestone Hospital is responsible for providing genetic risk assessment and counseling to patients across various service lines, including oncology, women's health, and cardiac care. This clinical role requires a combination of clinical experience, effective communication skills, and the ability to educate patients and healthcare professionals about genetic conditions and testing. The counselor will work closely with patients and their families to assess risks, facilitate genetic testing, and provide ongoing support and education.
