Requirements

• MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling
• ABGC/ABMG certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified Genetic Counselor
• Previous prenatal genetic counseling experience preferred
• Ability to obtain broad multi-state licensure

Responsibilities

• Support results reporting program for multiple clients by calling patients to discuss test results.
• Provide results to patients using an innovative approach to genetic results reporting.
• Engage in professional growth opportunities including abstracts, publications, and physician education.
• Collaborate with a nationwide organization of medical geneticists and over 100 counseling colleagues.
