About The Position
UW MEDICINE'S DEPARTMENT OF LABORATORY MEDICINE AND PATHOLOGY has an outstanding opportunity for a GENETIC COUNSELING ASSISTANT. This position provides high level support to a team of laboratory genetic counselors and variant review scientists, within the Clinical Genomic Analyst Team. The role offers the chance to gain first-hand knowledge of patient care and research related to genetics and genomics specialties, including targeted gene panels, exome/genome sequencing, cytogenetics, and genomics related to prenatal, pediatric, and adult-onset conditions, as well as hereditary and solid tumor cancers.
