The Genetic Counseling Assistant will work under the supervision of genetic counselors to assist with a variety of tasks. These tasks include communicating with referring providers and families, facilitating genetic testing, assisting with billing investigations and prior authorization, scheduling appointments, requesting medical records, entering data into databases, and handling faxing, scanning, and mailing duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
