This role is essential to our business and requires a hands-on approach that ensures high-quality and timely service! Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-5 years or more of generator experience required.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Technical School Certificate or Military training, a plus.
- Experience with Kohler Power Systems a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.
- Repair and adjust transfer switches and perform major repairs on units.
- Install and test new generator units.
- Respond quickly to jobsites in case of emergency.
- Complete and submit work orders and reports in a timely manner.
- Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.
- Follow safety requirements, including proper use of PPE.
