The Power Generation Engineer at Raytheon is tasked with ensuring the proper operation, testing, and repair of power generation and power frequency converter equipment. This role is critical in supporting the Major End Item (MEI) checkout during System Integration and Check-Out (SICO), Technical Assistance, or Depot Operations. The engineer will be involved in the installation of generator sets and power frequency converters, providing essential support for the testing, operation, and repair of all related equipment, including frequency converters. The position requires close collaboration with manufacturers of power generation and conversion equipment as needed. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Power Generation Engineer will assist the SICO Team during various phases such as unpacking, inventory, inspection, and support of the repair and checkout of MEIs. The role includes performing Preventive Maintenance Checks Services (PMCS), troubleshooting, and repairing generators that support the Patriot system. Coordination of PMCS and repair activities will be done with the Lead, and the engineer will contribute to the development of SICO reports, including creating 2404 forms and entering non-conformance data into the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (iMRO) system. This position is based in Sochaczew, Poland, and is classified as a Long-Term International Assignment, requiring onsite presence.
