About The Position

We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providing sales, service and rentals. The Generator Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site and phone troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, installation, and sales support of Generac industrial products. This position will require up to 50% travel; fleet vehicle provided.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 1 - 3 years related mechanical experience and completion of Electrical/Electronic or HVAC program.
• Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
• Experience in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology.
• Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, and heating products.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 - 3 years related Industrial experience.

Responsibilities
