About The Position

This position involves maintenance of shop and yard, building and repairing field equipment, loading trucks and maintaining a well-stocked warehouse.

Requirements

• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment – hard hats, etc.
• Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment
• Must arrive at shop on time ready to work
• Provide quality work product and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• An ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong team player.
• Ability to see tasks through to completion
• Good communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains shop and yard on a daily basis
• Maintains Inventory and stock of filters and parts
• Service and wash generators as needed
• Maintains oil tanks (fresh and waste) along with updating log
• Maintains loose parts, cable, filters and misc. products off the floor to maintain an organized shop
• Maintains storm drain, rain gutters and overall cleanliness of yard
• Assist mechanics and field technicians as needed
• Able to use all power and hand tools safely
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to drive forklift and load and unload equipment
• Other Duties may be assigned to meet business needs
