Generator Service Technician
About The Position
Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical takes great pride in servicing customers throughout Chicagoland and NW Indiana. We are looking for a Generator Service Tech, you will work hand-in-hand with the service department, gaining valuable hands-on experience maintaining and servicing a variety of generators. You will solve mechanical problems on site, work with customers directly, and help around the shop as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, understand engines, and have a great work ethic. Hiring is contingent upon motor vehicle record, passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and constantly improve
- Strong work ethic, and punctuality
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Electrical, gas line and Generator experience helpful
- Personal tools are required for the role
- Driver's License (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Responsibilities
- Assist the service department with generator maintenance and repairs.
- Perform outdoor work in all weather conditions year-round
